Have the following available at all times:
  • Blue or black pens, #2 pencils
  • Notebook paper (wide rule only)
  • Sets of medium point markers and hi-liters  (green, yellow, pink, blue)
  • Post-it notes (for marking significant passages as you read)

Other supplies needed:
  • 1 ½ inch three ring binder
  • Dividers for three ring binder

  1. Reference (information to keep all year)
  2. Handouts (short and long-term assignments
  3. Notes (class or reading)
  4. Writing

  • Assignment notebook or other place to record homework or project assignments
  • Composition notebook for your journal (remains in your file in the classroom)
